The Valley County Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing Oct. 29 to consider Agricultural Protection Area (APA) application APA 25-001 for a ranch property near Lake Fork. Staff described the property, the APA process, and recommended approval; the board voted to approve the designation by voice vote. The applicant discussed family plans to keep the land in ranching use in perpetuity and asked about how the designation is recorded.
