The Blue Springs Planning Commission met Oct. 27, 2025. Major items included public hearings on three residential subdivisions (Sullivan Ranch, Colburn Farms, Briarwood Oaks Estates and Hudson Estates) and a rezoning to permit an indoor recreation/assembly use (Rampage Athletics). Staff recommended approval for several developments; Sullivan Ranch generated the longest public comment period and the commission deadlocked 4-4 on the rezoning, general development plan and preliminary plat, so those items did not pass at the commission level and will be forwarded to City Council on Nov. 3. Colburn Farms, Rampage Athletics, Briarwood Oaks (final plat) and Hudson Estates (final plat) received approvals or favorable recommendations from the commission and will be heard by City Council on Nov. 3, 2025.
