Palm Beach County commissioners held a public interview and selection meeting to choose a new county attorney from four finalists. Candidates Denise Hare, Mike Jones, Michael Napoleone and David Adi answered questions on qualifications, office culture, retention, technology (including AI), and interdepartmental collaboration. After one round of voting, the board selected David Adi; the mayor will negotiate his contract with outside counsel.
