The Caldwell County Board of Commissioners met Oct. 27, 2025, in Lenoir. The board handled routine business including appointment and swearing-in of an interim deputy clerk, heard presentations from Vaya Health and the Department of Social Services on federal policy changes that could affect county budgets and benefits delivery, approved the hiring of a new county manager effective Dec. 1 and adopted the consent agenda before adjourning.
