Decatur School District 61 Board of Education met Oct. 28, 2025. The meeting opened with a pledge, approved the agenda and consent items, heard a Franklin Grove school presentation on student supports and early-reading training, discussed athletics co-op options for spring sports (primarily baseball) and reached board consensus to pursue an IHSA co-op process, approved personnel items, reviewed upcoming dates and offered condolences.
