The Michigan House Committee on Finance met Oct. 28, 2025. Lawmakers heard testimony on a proposal to create a state tax credit to encourage local (retail) investment in Michigan businesses and heard two related bills on Certified Public Accountant licensure and licensing paperwork. The committee also moved several bills forward by voice/roll votes and adopted technical substitutes on several measures.
