The Covington County Commission met Oct. 21 to approve routine minutes and claims, award a bridge repair contract and related construction engineering services, approve a change order adding overhead doors for the county truck-storage building, authorize a temporary liquor-license transfer for a dart tournament at the Extension Center, review quarterly public‑health and facilities reports, and approve several intergovernmental and property actions.
