Hammond Common Council met Oct. 27, 2025, and adopted the citys 2026 budget and related redevelopment and sanitary district budgets, approved wage ordinances, a PILOT agreement for Renaissance Towers, and a stormwater user-fee increase. Council also introduced two land-use ordinances for future consideration and heard community announcements and public comment about local events and scholarship outreach.
