The Garfield Heights City Council convened Oct. 27, 2025, to adopt several grant-acceptance measures, advance a new planning and zoning code to further readings, and formally honor local coach Daryl Copeland. Council approved multiple suspensions and waivers of rules to expedite action; most votes passed unanimously.
