At the Oct. 27 Yorktown Central School District Board of Education meeting, the district highlighted student progress in its American Sign Language program, celebrated Red Ribbon Week, announced a new AI chatbot on the district website and noted recent site work to expand classrooms. The board minute reported the ASL program meets New York State language requirements. The district scheduled its next board meeting for Oct. 3 at the middle school.
