City/county employees held a Durango wellness walk featuring adoptable dogs from the animal care and control department. About 250 employees participated; organizers said this is the fourth year of the event. Staff said participants earn credit toward a workplace wellness incentive that contributes to a $30-per-paycheck benefit. The walk doubled as a chance to exercise and to expose adoptable dogs to potential adopters.
