The Sugar Land Planning and Zoning Commission met Oct. 30, 2025, approved minutes and two final plats (Del Webb Sugar Land at Rye Hill Section 1A and Alston Lakes), and held a public recognition for Commissioner Taylor Landing, who is leaving the commission. Staff recommended approval for both plats; Del Webb approval included one condition requiring recorded subdivision covenants. All formal motions passed unanimously (5-0).
