Elkhart City Board of Public Safety met Sept. 23, 2025, in council chambers to approve routine minutes and dockets, authorize several small contracts and a bid for squad-car upfitting, approve a $2,500 ICAC grant, transfer a vehicle to the cemetery department, accept a towing-company complaint finding of no fault, and present unit citations and individual commendations for first responders who handled a June mass-shooting scene.
