The Elkhart Board of Public Works met in council chambers on Sept. 9, 2025, and approved a range of routine contracts, permit renewals and payments, awarded several small construction and conduit quotes, and passed a resolution to repeal and replace the wastewater utility use and FOG ordinances to align with state law. The board also amended the agenda to add a plan commission appointment and appointed Board member Andy Jones to that seat.
