Fresno City Council met Oct. 30, 2025. The council handled routine procedural business, read multiple ceremonial proclamations, moved several items between calendars, heard public comment on tobacco retail rules and homeless encampment responses, introduced a local ordinance to enable enforcement of state tobacco restrictions, approved delegated-maintenance work with Caltrans for freeway encampment cleanups, authorized continuing mobile shower/restroom services, approved ownership transfers allowing Sequoia Brewery to reopen, and accepted the city clerks resignation. Several items will return for final votes at subsequent meetings.
