The Contract Review Committee met Oct. 31, 2025, to review quarterly reports and evaluate program grant requests. The committee approved the Sharing Kindness quarterly report, deferred action on a Fairwinds opioid-settlement grant report pending a written explanation and an in-person briefing, and began detailed review of roughly a dozen program grant proposals (Warming Place, VNA, STAR, Small Friends, Memory Cafe, Palliative care provider PASCON, Lighthouse School educator well-being initiative, In The Herd, Health Imperatives, Elder Services nutrition/Meals on Wheels, Artist Association, Safe Place). Several applicants were asked to provide clearer financial statements, fundraising plans or to appear at a future meeting. The committee adjourned after scheduling follow-ups.
