The Brockton City Council met Oct. 27, 2025. The council handled multiple routine hearings (garage licenses, precious-metals licenses), approved borrowing and several grants, adopted zoning and overlay ordinance amendments, confirmed appointments, referred an urban renewal plan to finance, and discussed upcoming real-estate work on the former police station site at 7 Commercial St. Several license hearings were postponed or continued.
