The Lewis County Board of County Commissioners convened on Oct. 21, 2025, recognized county employees for service and above-and-beyond awards, and then moved through notices and consent items. The board approved notices scheduling public hearings on the fourth 2025 budget amendment and proposed code amendments to Chapter 2 (advisory groups and Planning Commission code). The commissioners also approved warrants/payroll/minutes and passed a set of resolutions declaring surplus property and vehicles, accepting a $240,000 Distressed Counties Fund grant for a Middle Fork water-system plan update, amending an interlocal agreement for the Pacific Mountain workforce, and accepting an offer from the Kilquedo Cemetery Association to transfer the Kilquedo Church. All items on the consent/notice agenda passed by recorded voice votes of 3-0.
