At its June 16, 2025 regular meeting, the Kent Local Board of Education voted to place a renewal levy on the ballot, approved routine and one-time budget measures including a $60,000 transfer to the athletics fund and the closeout change order for the CTE HVAC project, and voted to hire Larry Tosh as superintendent on a three-year contract; West Campus instructor Greg Eibel reported student gains and donated Little Free Library units.
