The Oak Grove Board of Aldermen met Oct. 20, 2025. The board approved several ordinances and routine items, including an ordinance vacating utility easements to allow a business expansion, site-plan approval for an industrial development in Powell Industrial Park, reappointment to the Planning & Zoning Commission, an election ordinance for April 7, 2026, code changes aligning city records rules with state law, and procurement actions including AEDs and a multi-year fireworks contract. Staff presented a concept for a 3-acre-lot residential development called Edgewood Farms and requested authority to apply for a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant to improve Webb Park.
