Chair Rob Bridal called the Oct. 16, 2025 meeting of the City of Olivette Planning and Community Design Commission to order and asked acting secretary to call the roll; commissioners Tim Spiegelglass, Laura Ragsdale, Felicia Ford, Petrie Powell and Vice Chair Saint Wallach were recorded present; Jenna Nath absent. Council liaison Brian Lewis and staff (Carlos Trejo, Dawn Doty, Jack Carswell) were noted in attendance.
The City of Olivette Planning and Community Design Commission held a hybrid meeting on Oct. 16, 2025. Commissioners reviewed a preliminary design for a 4-story, 128-room Courtyard by Marriott at Olive Crossing (Lot 6), considered a proposed detached accessory structure with an ADU at 820 North Price Road (approved 5–1), and recommended a special-use permit for a 3,772 sq ft Chinese restaurant at 9538 Olive Boulevard (approved unanimously). The commission accepted public comments on buffering, lighting, and pedestrian connections and requested follow-ups on materials, lighting plans, landscaping and cross sections.
