The Manchester Board of School Committee discussed transportation and crossing-guard shortages, approved after-school contracts with the Granite YMCA, reviewed class sizes and staffing shortages, and agreed to send letters asking state and federal officials to restore recently cut federal program funding. The board also voted to increase crossing-guard pay and move into a nonpublic session at the end of the meeting.
