The Escambia County Opioid Abatement Funding Advisory Board met to review routine business, confirm meeting advertising and minutes, review current opioid-abatement balances, consider a Community Health request to reallocate previously approved grant line items, hear status updates and funding requests from multiple nonprofit applicants, and vote on committee funding recommendations with conditions. The board approved the Community Health change request and approved the committeerecommended nonprofit allocations with a condition that Reentry Alliance Pensacola (REAP) return with clarified contract language and job descriptions before any contract or spending occurs. The board set a follow-up meeting date for Dec. 1 to finalize outstanding language.
