Mayor Ray Solomon called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m., led the pledge of allegiance and asked City Clerk Chris to call the roll; aldermen and officials announced presence or absence for the record.
The Crest Hill City Council met Nov. 3, 2025, and heard a community update from Lockport Township High School about student programs and needs, approved a multi-item consent agenda including infrastructure contracts and zoning variations, and debated a $3,000 holiday tree purchase and how committee sponsorship money is handled. The council also approved a municipal cannabis retailer occupation tax ordinance with edits requested by the Illinois Department of Revenue and created a two-member communications committee.
