Central School District 13J trustees reopened their public meeting after an executive session and received standing reports on nutrition services and district performance metrics. Nutrition manager Alex Singer updated the board on staffing, continued operation under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) through the 2028–29 school year, rising operating costs and a planned increase in nonreimbursable meal prices. Executive Director Heilman and Dr. Amy Jackson presented attendance, discipline and assessment data showing short-term gains in attendance and reading, continuing discipline reductions, mixed math results and steps for curriculum implementation and professional development. The board held first readings on two policy updates and approved the consent agenda by a 5-0 voice/hand vote.
