The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) hosted a summit of the TDLR Barbering and Cosmetology Advisory Board that brought together educators, school owners, licensees and agency staff to discuss testing, the value of the practical (state) exam, and a proposal for stackable curriculum hours that would allow partial credit toward related licenses.
