The Worcester County Board of Education met in open session after a closed session on Oct. 21, 2025. The agenda included Superintendent Annette Wallaces 100-day report and new recognition programs, student and athletic reports, a lengthy public-comment period focused on a newly formed Turning Point USA ("Club America") chapter at Stephen Decatur High School, a presentation on an early-literacy data triangulation tool, facilities updates (a completed Pocomoke Elementary roof and damage-driven intercom/clock replacement at Worcester Technical), and the districts FY2025 audited financial statements which auditors described as clean. The board approved routine personnel and MOUs, accepted maintenance and capital requisitions, and voted to enter a closed session for administrative matters.
