Presenters described a proposed increase in the individual stop-loss deductible from $500,000 to $600,000 plus an additional $325,000 aggregate layer intended to reduce annual premium costs; staff said the increase was accounted for in Fund 85 budget planning and would not require new funds. The superintendent and staff said open-enrollment processing is ongoing and noted hundreds of member plan changes this season, including more employees moving to the Humana plan.
