The Shelton Metropolitan Park District held a short special meeting with two public hearings on preliminary 2026 ad valorem taxes and the preliminary 2026 budget. Both resolutions were moved forward to the districts Nov. 18 action agenda by voice vote. Staff also reported on fall recreation programs, upcoming Cross Trails work, a multi-phased parks project, and two forthcoming parks board vacancies.
