The City of Shelton Council met Nov. 4 for its regular meeting. Council approved several procedural motions to advance agenda items to the Nov. 18 meeting, accepted a grant and interlocal agreement to expand a mobile integrated health program with North Mason Regional Fire Authority, reviewed the proposed 2026 budget and ad valorem tax ordinances, and heard public comment urging stronger enforcement of camping and sidewalk-obstruction ordinances. Staff gave updates on parks programming, water and sewer capital projects including bids for a 500,000-gallon reclaimed water tank, and received awards for the wastewater treatment plant’s compliance record.
