The Palm Beach County Inspector General (OIG) presented a semiannual update to the IG committee on investigations, audits, contract oversight and outreach, highlighting several fraud referrals, municipal audit findings and a contract oversight report. The Palm Beach County Commission on Ethics released public reports and final orders dismissing complaints against two former Jupiter Inlet Colony officials and issuing a letter of instruction in a separate case involving a South Bay commissioner. Inspector General leadership and staffing, pending audits (including a high-profile Pahokee audit), and plans to study procurement change orders were also discussed; the IG announced he will not seek contract renewal when it expires in June 2026.
