At the Nov. 5, 2025 Monroeville Zoning Hearing Board meeting the board denied variance 25-16-8, a request by Julieta Decker to build a six-foot solid fence in a front yard at 1300 Deerfield Drive after several neighbors testified that the fence would create a traffic-visibility hazard on Saunders Station Road. The applicant did not appear. The board also approved a schedule change to start future meetings at 7 p.m. beginning Jan. 7, 2026.
