The Texas State Board of Dental Examiners held multiple committee meetings Nov. 6, 2025, including a Disciplinary Review Committee, a rule-review committee and a Licensing Committee. The disciplinary panel approved a slate of agreed settlement orders, remedial plans, consent orders and multiple recommendations of dismissal, voted to revoke several licenses following summary disposition and default orders, and briefly met in executive session on seven case files. The rule-review sessions proposed readoption of chapters 114–116, adopted an updated teledentistry rule, and extensively revised the RDA/registration rule 114.2 (radiography topics, infection control, and digital/film wording). The Licensing Committee advanced several rule changes to implement recent legislation on military applicants, acknowledged an exam-provider name change, reviewed continuing-education providers, considered several licensure-exception requests (some denied, one deferred to the full board), and approved registration for a nonprofit employer.
