The Forney Planning and Zoning Commission met to consider a mix of zoning and development items. Members held a public hearing and voted to add a new definition and zoning regulations for "fortune teller/psychic" uses, permitting them in the Light Industrial district subject to a conditional use permit. The commission also approved a series of plats and site plans for retail, service, residential subdivision, multifamily cottage-style units, and entertainment uses, including Ace Hardware, Tiger Spa Car Wash, the Cottages at Gateway, Covenant Dental, multiple Gateway Parks phases, Trail House Park (entertainment venue "Slicks"), Wildcat Forney, Discount Tire, Dick's Sporting Goods, Navy Federal Credit Union and a Taco Bell site plan.
