Florence Town Council approved a $3.5 million project to add dedicated left- and right-turn lanes at the Hunt Highway and Attaway Road intersection to reduce delays and improve traffic flow. The town will pursue additional funding for future widening; Banneke Construction is scheduled to begin work in early 2026 and finish by summer.
