At its July 1 reorganizational meeting, the Carmel Central School District Board of Education swore in trustees and student ex officio members, elected Melissa Orser president and John Curzio vice president, approved a number of administrative appointments and bonding authorizations, debated and revised the district's public participation policy, and approved a plan to begin recording and translating committee meetings.
