Board moved, seconded and voted to recess into a 30-minute executive session to discuss the employment history of particular persons and to review legal guidance exempt from open meetings law; session set to end at 8:20 p.m.
Carmel Central School District Board of Education met Sept. 9, 2024 in the high school library for routine business including personnel approvals, a discussion of a tax certiorari settlement affecting district assessed value, creation of a grant-funded float nurse position, adoption of a compliments-and-complaints agenda item, several budget realignments, and authorization to continue using outside special counsel for board/central administration investigations.
