The Florida Senate Judiciary Committee met to consider two bills: SB 98, which would allow self-storage facilities to use industry auction websites in place of (or alongside) newspaper legal notices for unit sales; and SB 164, which would expand wrongful-death civil liability to cover the death of an unborn child at any stage of development. Both bills were reported favorably by the committee after public testimony and extended debate.
