The task force met to discuss chronic wasting disease (CWD) responses, hear field reports on feed sales and enforcement, and plan outreach to other states and national organizations. Members reviewed options including feed bans, testing, herd management and carcass removal, agreed to pursue outside presentations (National Deer Association, Hunters for the Hungry, state peers) and scheduled future substantive meetings to draft recommendations.
