The Podiatric Medical Board of California met on Nov. 7, 2025 to hear licensing and enforcement reports, discuss whether residency program approvals could be delegated to a committee (potentially requiring statutory change), review recent disciplinary and investigation metrics, approve minutes and executive reports, and set draft meeting dates for 2026. Board staff reported increases in case aging and investigation time, and staff summarized licensing counts and continuing efforts on regulations. The board directed staff to research options for changing the residency approval workflow and adopted routine minutes and EO reports.
