Mayor (presiding officer) opened the regular city council meeting, announced date/time/location (1109 B Bayou Road; meeting also on Zoom and Channel 16) and cited Texas Gov't Code section 551.127(b) regarding physical presence of the presiding officer.
La Marque City Council met Nov. 10, 2025. The council heard extended public comment on alleged misconduct by a sitting councilmember, held a lengthy public hearing on proposed water and sewer rate changes and impact fees (ultimately tabling the rate ordinance to December), approved a large industrial replat, approved an amended property-sale contract and a contract with event promoter BTR for BayFest/BayouFest 2026, and accepted the municipal judges resignation while appointing an interim municipal judge pending an RFQ for associate judges.
