Battle Creek Public Schools Board of Education held a work session on Nov. 10, 2025, featuring a presentation on Battle Creek Central High Schools career academy model and WK Prep, discussion of a proposed statewide ballot measure (Invest in MI Kids) to add a surtax for school funding, and establishment of a sustainable facilities and enrollment alignment committee. Trustees also moved into and returned from a short closed session; no final action was taken on the Invest in MI Kids resolution (vote set for the next meeting).
