Board Chair opened the public hearing and said it was a public hearing of the district; read procedural rules for public hearings including speaking order and a three-minute time limit per speaker. Vice Chair Corey Butler was named to keep time.
At a Nov. 10 public hearing, district staffer Daryl presented the Northfield Public School Districts results for the 2024-25 Comprehensive Achievement and Civic Readiness (CACR) plan and the Achievement and Integration (ANI) cycle, and proposed goals for 2025-26 and 2027-28. The presentation reviewed goal-by-goal outcomes (kindergarten readiness, attendance/achievement gaps, on-track graduation, graduation rates, and college/career readiness), highlighted areas of progress (kindergarten benchmark, reductions in credit deficiency and third-grade reading gains) and identified targets and strategies for the next cycles. The public hearing was closed by motion; board discussion and questions were reserved for the regular board meeting at 6:00 p.m.
