Santa Fe County Board of County Commissioners met on Nov. 10 to approve routine business, adopt an ordinance recognizing historical and cultural events, and — after extended public comment and debate — direct the county manager to conduct a phased feasibility study on creating a publicly owned electric utility. The board also decided land-use variances in an appeal and approved several contracts and grant awards.
