Conway City Council met to hear a presentation from Hendrix College on establishing an entertainment district in the Hendricks (Hendrix) Village, and to approve a package of franchise, lease and budget ordinances including extensions for Conway Corporation, utility franchise/telecom conversions to fiber, several zoning amendments, public works contracts and budget appropriations. Multiple items passed unanimously.
