At a recent Des Moines City aviation committee meeting, community advocate Steve Edmiston reviewed the history of regional airport planning, summarized recent litigation and science on noise and ultrafine particles, and urged coordinated legal and community responses to the Port of Seattles SAMP. Committee members discussed an interlocal agreement (ILA) with Burien and SeaTac and the timing of possible NEPA and SEPA appeals.
