At its Nov. 10, 2025 meeting the Joint Animal Services Commission (JASCOM) heard a public hearing on the proposed 2026 budget, directed staff to prepare the final budget for a December 8 vote with slightly higher assessments to reduce reserve reliance, received shelter intake and field-call statistics showing higher intake (notably cats), got case and program updates, and agreed to explore a future discussion about livestock services and the ILA.
