The Mayor’s Council of Guam convened Nov. 10, heard program and procurement updates from the executive director, approved routine minutes and financial reports, moved $2,000 from a parade balance to Christmas party cash prizes, discussed a potential $750,000 defense-related grant for a cybersecurity/master plan and raised concerns about senior center (SEO) funding that runs through Nov. 15. Department of Public Health and Social Services presented the CWEP/SNAP employment program and distributed referral sheets to mayors.
