The Lawrence City Council returned to public session from an executive session, agreed to forward the top two candidates for each school committee position for second-round interviews, and voted to recess until the next day. Councilors Wendy Luzon and Anna Levy made and seconded motions; the roll calls were unanimous. HR will tally sealed score sheets and recommend candidates to the full council for further interviews.
