Pitkin County Board of County Commissioners met in a work session Nov. 12 to hear a quarterly housing authority update, review recommendations for the 2026 Healthy Community Fund (including reallocating money into a Community Assistance Fund and adjusting one grant), and begin an impact study and policy discussion on short-term rentals. Staff also heard a presentation from a regional Transportation Coalition on congestion-mitigation options including dynamic pricing and carpooling tools. Commissioners set follow-up items and asked for additional data and legal review on several items.
